Thy Kingdom Come – Breadsall church open for prayer

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are encouraging all churches to open for prayer each day between Ascension and Pentcost (May 10th-20th). This is part of “Thy Kingdom Come”, a global movement inviting Christians to pray for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. Breadsall Church will be open every day between 6pm and 7pm during this time.

The Annual Meeting was held today at 1145am in church. The meeting re-elected Dorreen Milner and Jacqui Eastwood as churchwardens for the coming year. New to the PCC is Adrian Miller and retiring members Michael Dean, Matthew Crawford and Pat Lunn were re-elected.

The meeting approved the Annual Report and Accounts for 2017.

The meeting also received reports from many church organisations and thanks were given to all those who contribute in any way to making the church function as it does.

Contactless Payments

The church now has the facility to accept contactless donations. So, if you forget your wallet, envelopes or just want to make a donation using your credit or debit card, we can accept it. Please talk to the wardens. Initially, it will only be available at the main Morning Service.
