Palm Sunday
In place of the regular service, the choir will present 'The Passion of our Lord' - a series of songs and readings telling the story of Jesus' last few days on earth. Please come along and use this as part of your preparations for Easter.
Their will be housegroups meeting on Monday afternoons and Thursday evenings at the home of Mike and Lecky, and on Wednesday evening at the home of Janet and Alex Stewart. We will be studying Christ - his cross - and ours.
We have recently mourned the deaths of several church members. Cynthia Wigley, Ted Mather (a former churchwarden) and Brian Gillibrand have all left us for their heavenly home. Our thoughts are with their families.
We are pleased to announce that full distribution of communion has restarted. The Bishops have provided new advice and it is now felt safe to share the chalice.
Of course, if anyone feels that they do not want to receive the shared cup, please let the minister know and continue to intinct (dip) the wafer.
