Disabled Access
Facilities for disabled

by chrisadmin

Breadsall church has limited facilities for the disabled although it will try and accomodate as many needs as possible

Hearing:
Breadsall has a loop system fitted. Please set hearing aids to the 'T' position. If you have any difficulties hearing part of the service, please contact one of the Wardens or staff on duty.

Wheelchairs/Limited Mobility:
The main entrance to the church is up some stone stairs which has a metal handrail. If you find difficulty in climbing the steps, it is usually possible to open a different entrance which is almost level. There is a ramp to enable wheelchair users to enter by this door.
It would be helpful to the staff if you wish to use this facility if you could contact the Verger or Churchwardens prior to visiting, so we can ensure this route is accessible. Of course, we will endeavour to accomodate you even if you are unable to give notice.
We regret that it is not currently possible to provide wheelchair access to the WC.

Partially sighted:
We have some large print copies of the Hymn Book (Complete Mission Praise). Please ask the sidesperson on duty if you require one. We do not currently have copies in braille.

General:
If there are any comments you would like to make on the facilities available, please leave a comment or mail the webmaster. I am on the Church Council and will take up any items raised. Please provide an e:mail address so that we can respond with actions taken.
